If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us using the following form.

  • 100% Fertigation in Our Fields: In all our fields, we implement fertigation, a technique that allows for the precise application of water and nutrients to plants, optimizing their growth and yield. This helps us maximize resource efficiency and promote sustainable practices in our agricultural production.

  • Subterranean Probes: Our probes enable us to constantly monitor soil moisture levels in our fields. This provides us with accurate information about our plants’ irrigation needs, preventing both overwatering and underwatering. As a result, we achieve efficient water use, improve crop quality, and reduce environmental impact by avoiding the waste of this vital resource.

  • Reverse Osmosis Plant in Peru: In the Aquanqa project in Peru, we use cutting-edge technology to extract water from underground wells in arid areas and subsequently desalinate it through reverse osmosis. This process allows us to obtain high-quality water for irrigating our crops. By employing precision irrigation systems, we optimize water usage, ensuring efficient and precise distribution in every cultivation area. In this way, we maximize agricultural productivity while minimizing environmental impact in regions with water scarcity.
  • Composting Plant: Prize is in the process of inaugurating its composting plant, which will transform organic material into fertilizer for our fruit trees. With this initiative, we promote sustainable waste management and contribute to environmental conservation.

  • Renewable Energy Connection in Processing Plants: To reduce our carbon emissions, Prize has committed to using renewable energy in our processing plants. We are constantly searching for clean and sustainable energy sources to minimize our environmental impact and contribute to the fight against climate change.

  • Solar Panels in Fields: We are pleased to announce the launch of a solar energy pilot project in our first field. This project marks the beginning of our transition to renewable and sustainable energy sources. We are excited about this initiative and look forward to implementing more solar projects in the future to reduce our carbon footprint and promote clean energy in our operation.

  • Recycling, Sustainability, and Waste Management: We have implemented an auditable recycling and waste disposal program, complying with regulations. We manage agrochemicals, packaging, fuels, and lubricants according to Best Practices in Agriculture (BPAs). We effectively segregate recyclable, organic, household, and hazardous waste. Our system is based on a circular production model, closing loops like nature does. We have designated recycling points in Prize areas to facilitate the recycling of various types of waste.
  • New Supplier Selection Policy with Environmental and Social Criteria: Starting this year, Prize has implemented a supplier selection protocol that prioritizes sustainability as a fundamental criterion. We value and promote sustainability at all stages of our supply chain, from production to product delivery. When choosing suppliers, we ensure they share our values and adhere to rigorous environmental, social, and ethical standards. This initiative reinforces our commitment to a responsible and sustainable approach in all our business operations.

  • Clamshells Made from Recycled Material: At Prize, we focus on sustainability and reducing plastic waste. Currently, we use clamshells made from 80% recycled material, minimizing our environmental impact. Our goal is to make 100% of our clamshells from recycled plastic within 5 years. Additionally, our labels are water-removable, making recycling easier. We promote sustainable practices and encourage our customers to actively participate in the recycling cycle.

  • 100% Recyclable Boxes: At Prize, we care about the environment and waste reduction. That’s why all our boxes are made from 100% recyclable materials. Furthermore, we use a special adhesive that makes the boxes easily recyclable after use. This conscious choice helps us minimize our environmental impact and contribute to the circular economy. We are committed to sustainability and continue to seek innovative ways to improve our processes and products to protect our planet.

  • Recycling: At Prize, we are concerned about proper waste management in our processing plants. We have separate bins to facilitate recycling. Additionally, we have established a partnership with Resiter, a recycling company, to dispose of and recycle our waste correctly. Together, we ensure that recyclable materials are separated and processed properly in our mini recycling plant. This initiative demonstrates our commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility.
  • Protection of Native Trees and Biodiversity: In our southern fields, specifically in Osorno, we have conducted our plantations in an environmentally respectful manner. We are proud to say that no native trees were felled during this process. Furthermore, we have fenced and protected the entire area where native trees are located to preserve and promote the biodiversity of the area. Our commitment to conservation and ecological balance drives us to take responsible actions to protect and value the natural environment in which we operate.

  • Workplace Safety Program: At Prize, we prioritize the safety and well-being of our employees. We have a specialized Occupational Health and Safety team that continuously evaluates risks at each workstation. We implement healthy breaks to prevent injuries from repetitive movements and promote physical and mental health in the workplace. We benefit more than 900 people with annual training, following health protocols and occupational health examinations. We adhere to occupational health and safety policies, including the operation of the Joint Health and Safety Committee.

  • Training: We conduct a Training Needs Analysis (TNA) process to identify areas for improvement and design personalized programs. In addition to mandatory courses, we offer training tailored to the needs of our staff. We collaborate with SENCE (National Service for Training and Employment) and have four bipartite committees to ensure proper training.

  • Diversity and Inclusion: We comply with regulations for the inclusion of people with disabilities in our plants and fields, promoting an inclusive and respectful work environment. We value diversity and work to ensure equal opportunities and accessibility for all.
  • Promoting Sports: At Prize, we highly value sports as a fundamental part of our philosophy. We firmly believe in the benefits that sports can bring to people, especially to young people and children, by promoting a healthy lifestyle. That’s why we support various sports clubs in the areas where our fields and processing plants are located. We take pride in contributing to the development and well-being of the community through our support for these sports initiatives.
  • Community Runs: This year, we are pleased to announce the 1st Prize Family Run, an inclusive and free event for the entire community. This initiative will be held in collaboration with the municipality and our Prize suppliers. We are excited to promote sports and a healthy lifestyle, inviting families to participate in this exciting activity. We hope that this run will be the beginning of an annual tradition that strengthens community bonds and promotes the well-being of all participants.
  • CAUCE Program: Prize is proudly part of the Inacap CAUCE program, which provides opportunities for students from various high schools in the region to undertake internships and immerse themselves in the business world. As a program site, we provide an enriching learning environment where students can apply their theoretical knowledge, gain practical experience, and explore different aspects of our company. We are pleased to contribute to the professional development of these young people and help them prepare for their future careers.

Education/Entrepreneurship: Through our internal volunteer program “Growing Together,” we sponsor and support micro-entrepreneurs in our surrounding areas. In collaboration with the Coemprende Foundation, we work to promote the growth and development of their businesses by providing them with the necessary tools, guidance, and resources. We take pride in contributing to the strengthening of local entrepreneurs and promoting economic development in our communities.

Partnering with Carabineros and Firefighters: As part of our commitment to respecting institutions and supporting the work they do, we make donations to firefighters and police officers (Carabineros). We recognize their valuable work and promote respect for their efforts in benefiting the community.

Misión País: We provide financial support to Misión País, contributing to their efforts to provide food through our superfruits and making donations to support their work in low-income communities. We are proud to actively contribute to this national initiative led by over 600 young volunteers, strengthening community well-being and promoting social development.
